Come on in! I’m Karimah and I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2019. I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I’m a wife, a mom to two amazing little boys, a big sister and of course a virgo. My love for all things beauty started when I was a little girl, yes I was the girl with a hundred barbie dolls who always had their hair done. Getting my hair done always brought me happiness so my passion was to also make people feel good. Funny thing is with feeling that way I thought I would be a doctor instead but without the scars, blood and med school. What if I did hair in a hospital?! Well, here’s how things turned out instead.

I got my first peek into the industry when I was hired for a photoshoot as a lead hairstylist. That moment scared me but also pushed me to want more. In 2018 I enrolled into cosmetology school after several people in my circle saw my potential and wanted me to see it as well. I went into a salon as a commissioned hairstylist shortly after completing my studies but I needed MORE! I was able to experience a lot of first while working with some amazing artists which birth my brand, E.HairSolutions. So the E comes from my middle name which is Essence, meaning “the quality or qualities that make something what it is or the nature of a thing”. This fit so well for what I dreamt of doing with a brand, developing products and services that felt natural to me and my consumers.

Continuing my career I opened my first Salon Suite in October 2022, E.HairStudios. It was AMAZING! Everything I dreamt of. I closed in October 2023 after giving birth to my second son and transitioned into a travel stylist. I got back to creating and servicing which opened up another door to the beauty world for me. So now that you know a little something about me it’s time to book your next one of a kind service.
